Cool, calm, collected

The greatest champions in sports, the people who achieve the best success and have long careers, like Phil Jackson, the legendary NBA coach with 11 championships, like Pete Sampras - the tennis champion with 14 Grand Slams titles, Roger Federer - the greatest player ever with 17 Grand Slams and countless records, Bjorn Borg, the greatest genius of tennis who set all the records before Sampras and Federer... All of these people learned to achieve success by mastering their emotions, they are always calm, cool and collected, especially in the most testing, most stressful times ...
All the great champions have learned to master their emotions and remain calm - Nadal, Djokovic, and recently Murray who was helped by Ivan Lendl to win the Olympics and the US Open. Ivan Lendl is another master of coolness. In female tennis, there are Steffi Graf - the cool champion of unparalleled success and Martina Navratilova, who are always calm in the court...

It is only when you are calm, not only that you don't panic, but you master your emotions - that's when you can achieve your best potential. The more calm you are, the closer to success you can be. It's no coincidence that all the people who are calm, cool and collected later become the directors, managers, and successful. No one is born with this coolness, everyone has to train themselves to be calm.

The best people don't get discouraged. They know life is still going after today, and there will be another time, another game, another championship to be. Excellent people who do not give up, will always come out and win.

The game has seen lots of people who have tremendous talent but never lived up to their potential, due to losing their calmness, their confidence, their peace ... Martina Hingis, destined to become one of greatest players in the world, lost her calmness, felt discouraged and then abandoned her career. Goran Ivanisevic, a crazy player always throwing tantrum, got his only Grand Slam at the twilight of his career as a consolation, when he has learned to be calm enough to play well ... while other normal players, like Yevgeny Kafelnikov, a very cool and cold attitude, achieved better than expected results.

Calmness, is the key of Zen, a key to long term success in life. Calm and peace is also a sign of maturity, with great people always appear calm, cool and confident, because confidence comes from hard work.

Because in life, nothing is perfect so just focus on what is in your hands. Everyone will eventually die anyway, so relax, and calm down, and live your life with gratitude.
